She is interested in upmarket and book-club fiction, literary fiction, and nonfiction—be it memoir or investigative reporting—that highlights systemic injustice, environmental issues, the natural world, and psychology.

Across genres, she is drawn to voice-driven narratives with strong emotional impact.
